Looking to keep your child's hockey skills sharp before enjoying a nice turkey dinner? The Tampa Bay Lightning has you covered! This Thanksgiving, join Lightning Alumni and Staff as we look to host a Thanksgiving Ice Hockey Camp! This will be a 3-day camp held at TGH Ice Plex and will run from November 20th-22nd.

Thanksgiving camp is intended for players of all skill levels between the ages of 5 and 15. Players are split into 2 ages groups; 5-9 years old (9 and under) and 10-15 years old (15 and under). Inside each age group the players are separated by skill level in order to create a competitive atmosphere at camp. Thanksgiving camp will follow the USA Hockey’s American Development Model (ADM) to maximize ice time and talent development.

Camp is not just designed for players; goalies will have world class training ran by Lightning alumni and Stanley Cup Champion Mathieu Garon. Mathieu will work with goalies on various skills such as positioning and goalie techniques throughout the camp.

Registration for camp includes the following:

  • 2 on-ice sessions and 2 off-ice sessions per day
  • Lunch provided daily
  • Thanksgiving themed jersey
  • And plenty of other apparel and goodies!!!

15 & Under

9:30 am - 10:00 am: Check-in

10:15 am - 11:15 am: Ice 1

11:45 am - 12:45 pm: Dryland training

12:45 pm - 1:30 pm: Lunch

2:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Ice 2

3:15 pm - 4:15 pm: Off-ice skills training

4:15 pm - 4:45 pm: Check-out


FULL EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND CAMP INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:

  • SHOULDER PADS
  • ELBOW PADS
  • GLOVES
  • HOCKEY PANTS
  • SHIN GUARDS
